Hugh Laurie sings the blues

  • Dear readers,

I stopped watching House a while back. And as I’ve stated time and time again, the only bad thing that came out of it was no Hugh Laurie on weekly basis.

This morning I was perusing the news and saw that Hugh won the Music Man of the Year award at the GQ bash (on a sidenote – love that Bill Nighy won an award too, we need more Bill Nighy in our lives) and is gracing one of the five covers of GQ UK.

It kinda sucks for the rest of us, no? Not the fact he is on the cover of GQ obviously, the mere thought makes me break out in cold sweat. Hugh Laurie is much prettier to look at. No, I mean the fact the man is so insanely talented it makes we want to get a pint of Ben and Jerry’s and just give up. He wrote comedy (good one at that, if anything would give the jelliez that would be it), he wrote a book, obviously he can act and he has recorded an album. Which by the sound of it, isn’t bad at all.

So I might not watch House anymore, but I’m all for supporting Hugh. So here is the link to the album’s website, you can go and download the album.

Down below you can find the introduction for Let Them Talk

And because I’m feeling nostalgic here is a clip from A Bit of Fry and Laurie days

But this will forever be one of my favorites. Minnie the Moocher from Jeeves and Wooster (which sadly cannot be embeded so click the link to watch). How can you watch this without being transported to your happy place? So. Funny.
