Alcatraz – trailer

Dear readers,

if there is one series that will debut this fall that I’m genuinely curious about then it is Alcatraz. Created by Elizabeth Sarnoff, Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, it is produced by J. J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Production.

Alcatraz follows the story of police officer Rebecca Madsen (played by Sarah Jones), who is a homicide detective. After she discovers that a murder case she is working on seems to be committed by an Alcatraz inmate who has died ages ago, she starts an investigation into rather odd and surprising sequence of events – the Alcatraz inmate is not only not dead, but on a killing spree in San Francisco. She is helped by Dr. Diego Soto (played by my favorite Jorge Garcia) who is an Alcatraz expert and government agent Emerson Hauser (played by Sam Neill, who you probably remember from Jurassic Park but I loved in The Dish).

I love (LOVE!) the premise and if the pilot is half as good as Fringe pilot was… well… now if someone, anyone would leak it online so we don’t have to wait until autumn. WHAT? Oh I’m know, I’m horrible! But I said I’m curious.

Anyhow, you can check out the trailer below.
