Things that suck about television (at the moment)

Dear readers, do pardon my grumbling it’s been that kind of a day. So if you don’t mind me doing my best Victor Meldrew impression feel free to join me. Otherwise feel free to ignore me
- Midseason shows have ended
- Summer shows haven’t begun.
- Shows that are on are on a break.
- Shows that are still on resorting to silly plot lines and/or musical episodes (really Shonda, really? I know Sara Ramirez can sing but musical episode of Grey WASN’T the TV event of the season).
- Donald Trump. Oh yes I’m still watching Celebrity Apprentice and you can judge me, I won’t mind. It’s not even his hair that bothers me so. It’s the fact a) he’s an ass and b) when he gets all judgy and shit his mouth starts to resemble a chicken bottom (yup, am shallow blogger).
- The fact we had to wait for new episodes of Torchwood for 2 years.
- British series that only last 6 episodes. I mean WTF? Would it kill you BBC/ITV/Channel 4 people to do oh I don’t know maybe 10 episodes at least (I’m only grumbling because I started watching Silk, got into it and then it was over. After 6 episodes. Tsk!)
- The fact I read about shows that sound so cool and get all excited but then realize I will have to wait until autumn to see all the new pilots. Pffft. Like this one. Or this one. And there is a whole bunch of them here.
So tell me dear readers are there any things that irk you about television these days?
