Stephen Fry Appreciation Monday – Last Chance to See

Dear faithful readers – happy Stephen Fry Appreciation Monday!

Last Chance to See with our lovely Mr. Fry premiered yesterday on BBC. This particular project was started by Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine some 20 years ago. The idea was to find some of the world’s most endangered species that were on the brink of extinction. And now 20 years later and after Adams’ untimely death Mr. Fry teamed up with Mark Carwardine to re-visit the places and animals to see what has become of them and if indeed some of them have became extinct.

Now you may or may not know that I love (LOVE!) a good nature program so this is just up my street. There will be a book out as well (in October) which I will simply have to add to my already growing list of books I plan to buy when I visit England in November (I always, always without a fail return home looking like a hunchback, damn and blast airlines and their baggage limits).

Anyhow down below you can find two clips I have managed to find on YouTube and I hope all of our English readers will chip in and lets us all know if the program was as good as I think it should be :)
