Couchslobs is 2 years old!
-
Dear faithful readers,
can you believe it that Couchslobs is 2 years old this month? Well I couldn’t believe it myself.
It has been a bit of a surreal two years to be honest with you.Who would have thought a fun project that has started as a place to have a discussion (well sometimes it was a discussion, more often then not it was verbal diarrhea about shows we dig and love talking about) would result in being invited to a press screening of Kingdom? Ha there we were sitting with all the serious journos in the same room with Mr. Fry – the same man who made me giggle all those years ago as Melchett on Blackadder (although I might have ruined my reputation a tad bit when I whipped out my Hello Kitty notebook. In my defense I had to write my notes somewhere
I tell you it does give a whole new meaning to surreal. Be as it may over the holiday I have been ruminating the future of Couchslobs. I have realized a while back we simply do not have the resources to be able to post on daily basis (not for now anyway). If I did that I just might go slightly insane (or a tad bit more insane then I am at the moment

But since I simply cannot imagine not talking about the latest episode of House (everyone I know has fallen off the wagon ages ago), the delight that is Torchwood and Lost or the wonderful cheesiness that is True Blood. So there might be a few less posts per week then normal, but me thinks they might be a tad bit longer then 100 words (pardon me I do have a love/hate relationship with word count). Mind you it does not mean we will not post cool trailer when we see one, YouTube is our friend after all
But for the sake of my sanity I am giving this plan a whirl and we will see how it goes. And last but definitely not least – in the honor of this occasion I would like to thank you our dear and faithful readers, each and every one of you who have paid us a visit over the last two years.
Here I was thinking none apart from our immediate family and friends will ever read Couchslobs and there you are are day in and day out, old and new so thank you for popping by and thank you for all your stumbles, tweets, diggs and reddits – it was and it is much appreciated.
