Well sort of.

Dexter is getting a new nemesis (or possibly BFF?!) in form of John Lithgow.  Now I used to love him in 3rd Rock from the Sun but I’m sure he will be more then capable of holding his own (remember him in Ricochet?! Talk about creepy).

Lithgow will play Trinity Killer, a serial killer who kills in – wait for it – threes and has eluded capture for three decades. Goes without saying Dexter will be intrigued.

To find out whether or not Dexter and Trinity Killer will become friends or foes we will have to wait until September 27th when the new season of Dexter airs. I will say that Jimmy Smiths is a tough act to follow. And that we all know how Dexter’s friends or foes end up. You know – dead. But it should be an interesting season that is for sure.
