Stephen Fry Appreciation Monday – air date for Kingdom!

Dear faithful readers – happy Stephen Fry Appreciation Monday!
Well it seems we have the date for the third series of Kingdom! Thanks to a kind soul over at Mr. Fry’s boards who has access to ITV Anglia (thank you spaniel!) – the air date for Kingdom in UK is June 7th!
Now it only really concerns our lovely British readers but do note this date down in your calendar (June 7th!). Hm yes I tend to forget not many people write things down in their calendars anymore but you know put it in your Outlook or set a reminder in your mobile
Now it doesn’t make much sense that the series has already been aired in Belgium but who am I to nitpick? The thing is we all know ITV is in a spot of financial bother. I will not harp on how they could do some drastic things like – oh I don’t know make their shows available on iTunes and finally (FINALLY!) discover YouTube and any other such nonsense because who needs revenue streams right? *sigh * But it would help if they would update the series websites with I don’t know air dates and where we can order DVDs! You know just a thought!
Anyhow a good number of shows have been canceled due to ITV’s financial straits and it won’t hurt to have as many people watching Kingdom as possible. Because you know they don’t have money to renew A Touch of Frost but they can pay Cheryl Cole millions for her own show (she is a footballer’s wife for our non-UK readers). Tsk!
So our lovely British readers get some lovely cake, make a nice, tall glass of lemonade (its dreadfully hot here today, it makes more sense then cocoa) and do make sure to tune in on June 7th to ITV.
