So did you like the latest installment of BSG? Did you, did you?

Hm I will have to admit it gave me another theory. It is far-fetched of course (as always) however I just might be on to something.

Starbuck and the piano player. I have to agree with Amy my immediate thought after seeing the episode was that Starbuck’s father is the hybrid Daniel (who was fiddled with by Cavil).

My idea is – wait for it – what if Starbuck is the first human Cylon hybrid baby? Not Hera. But Starbuck.
To an extent that would explain a lot – her inexplicable attraction to Cylons, her artiness (if Daniel was her father and he was as artistic as Ellen claims) and her visions. It would even explain the song.
It was the trigger switch that only the Final Four heard and it got them together in one place for the first time. So it is logical to me that human Cylon hybrid babies can hear it too (again Hera can hear it in some shape or form and Starbuck can hear it too).

I still do not know how we can possibly explain the charred body of Starbuck she found on Earth (Physics never was my strong suit) but we still do not know what exactly human Cylon hybrid babies can do. Can they be downloaded? Can they be resurrected?
What are the biological characteristics they have inherited from humans and what have they inherited from Cylons? That was never explained (although Hera was saved by human doctor as you can read here).

As I said it is a far fetched theory but worth looking into.
