What the hell happened – or when actors turn from heart throbs to blobs

A while back we did a list of 7 guys our mums think are hot. Today we are going to take a look at guys that have over the years gone from heart throbs to big blobs.
I am honestly not trying to be mean I just do not understand what happened to them.
And without trying to come over all feminist (which I am not really) it bothers me that women (especially women in movies and television) are often scrutinized for aging (oh get over yourself we will all get wrinkles eventually!), putting on weight/losing weight (as a self-professed foodie I will not even dignify this one with a response) or even going out without make-up (oh the horror imagine going out without make-up when you take out the trash, how dare she?)
There are plenty of women that have aged gracefully and still look freaking fantastic – Helen Mirren, Monica Belluci, Vanessa Williams, Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer and has anyone seen Tina Turner recently? Bloody hell she is 70!
Hollywood is much kinder to men when it comes to aging and piling on the pounds. But none can tell me it is impossible to age gracefully.Just look at Morgan Freeman (72 this year!!!) or Hugh Laurie (50 in June!). Sean Connery (78!) and Alan Rickman (63!!!)
So lets kick off our “What the hell happened” list!

Now lets get one thing straight – I have nothing against tall, beefy rugby types. Nothing at all. But this just might be a bit too beefy. Come on, Russell you have pulled off wearing a mini skirt once you can do it again!

Yes I know Mickey Rourke is hot stuff at the moment with his Oscar nomination and everything but it goes to show that even botched up plastic surgery cannot stop a good actor. Why he needed it to begin with I will never know.

Sylvester Stallone
I was never a big fan of Sylvester Stallone. But I did see every Rambo and Rocky movie when I was younger. He is still in great physical shape (well it would be silly to have Rambo let himself go) however he should steer clear from the plastic surgeons.

Nick Nolte
Oh how I loved Nick Nolte in Prince of Tides. Yes I am aware it is a chick flick however it has Barbra Streisand in it. And in 48 hours (I know but I’m a child of the 80s). But time has not be kind on Nolte. Or Nolte has not been kind on himself it all depends which way you want to look at it.
