Things I learned watching Eli Stone

  • THE DREAM WORLD OF ELI STONE

I really cannot believe that those silly sausages at ABC have decided to put Eli Stone on permanent hiatus (oh how I hate those words ever since Veronica Mars, bitter – me – never!).
In case you would like to pledge your support for Eli Stone you can do so over at TV Addict or you see what you can do over at Save Eli Stone (basically watch the remaining episodes so that the numbers improve).
And here at Couchslobs we do what we do best and that is make a list of things we learned watching Eli Stone.

    • All lawyers are evil.
    • Even the supposedly good lawyers cross over to the dark side eventually (my point – Maggie Dekker).
    • Only thing that just might make a lawyer less evil is a brain aneurysm.
    • Signs that you might suffer from a brain aneurysm – George Michael singing on your coffee table/your co-workers breaking out in a song and a dance and/or various other unexplained phenomenon.
    • One man’s hallucination is another man’s vision.
    • It is not easy being a prophet a) you never know where you will start swaying to the music or singing, b) there is a lot of leaping about and c) you can get drunk without having a sip of drink to begin with. And do not even get me started on trying to convince people you are actually a prophet – I have never seen a faster conversation killer.
    • Your acupuncturist might not be the real deal. Give away sign – if he starts saying dude in the middle of your appointment.
    • It seems there was only one law firm in San Francisco – Wethersby, Posner and Klein. And now there are 2 – Wethersby-Stone and Posner-Klein. San Francisco is a big city – surely there should be more law firms?
    • Oh and for the record for all the people who were searching Google and ended up on Couchslobs – its ELI Stone, not Ely Stone.
