Dear faithful readers – happy Stephen Fry Appreciation Monday! And Oscar Wilde day!

I love being keen to oblige Stephen Fry’s whimsies. So shoot me – I am fond of Stephen Fry and I am very fond of the word whimsy.

Today Twitter is abuzz with Oscar Wilde quotes, pictures and all sorts of things because our lovely uncle Steve decided on a whimsy today should be Oscar Wilde day. In fact it is a number 1 trend on Twitter (bigger then Mumbai, Christmas and Mr. Fry might be chuffed to know Apple).

I do have to admit I was/still am a bit distracted as great quotes and some pretty damn good pictures keep coming up on the feed. Because our lovely Mr. Fry’s versions of Oscar Wilde books are being released I think there will be some prizes as well for the most original tweets. So tweet away!

You see we were not far off when we have decided to declare Mondays Stephen Fry Appreciation Mondays. It was all on a whimsy. And it was one of the best whimsies I have ever had.
