Dear faithful readers – Happy Stephen Fry Appreciation Monday!

I’m just about to have some dinner and then I plan to follow it up with nice cup of cocoa and Bright Young Things.

Yup I have to shamefacedly admit I still have not seen our lovely Mr. Fry’s one and only directorial debut. I did a bit of research and I do feel bad I have not read the Vile Bodies by Evelyn Waugh on which the movie is based on. I usually get the book first and then proceed with the movie, however this time around I’m doing it backwards.

I do have to say I’m quite excited about this one because it is set in my favorite periods of history (England in 1920s has been a long time fascination). I am trying not to get too excited not to be disappointed in the end, but it cannot be that bad could it? It’s Stephen Fry after all.
