Michael Crichton lost a battle to cancer
-
Michael Crichton passed away today in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer. He was 66.
Crichton was a best-selling author, a screen writer, director, TV and movie producer.
How can we forget the phenomenon that was Jurassic Park and Lost World, The First Great Train Robbery, Coma, Disclosure or Raising Sun? Or ER back in the day when it had the likes of Anthony Edwards and George Clooney?
I have to admit his books were my guilty pleasure and made me ponder concepts and technology I always thought a technically challenged person like myself could never possibly understand. His Andromeda Strain still remains one of my favorites sci-fi thriller reads.
We have lost one prolific writer.
