What I’m digging this season
-
True Blood – it is getting better with every episode. Maybe those cliffhangers at the end simply force you to tune in – be as it may, True Blood makes for some addictive telly.
Supernatural – the Winchester brothers are coming up trumps this season it has to be said. Maybe it is because the whole angel aspect has been added just to spice things up a bit and boy did it spice them up – surely if recent numbers are anything to go by Supernatural should find a decent home when CW folds.
Dexter – just as I start to wonder how can Dexter possibly get better (he is a serial killer who has been scraping by the inch of his teeth for 2 seasons already), the writers mix it up and make it even better. And having Jimmy Smits as a guest star does help – fancied him like rotten ever since his LA Law days.
Fringe – many call it silly. And unbelievable. But I love it.
Still on the fence
House – is doing my head in this season. I love the fact Wilson has finally returned but it does beg the question – now what?
Ugly Betty – oh how I loved Ugly Betty during the first season, you know by the time it really got funny. Now it just falls flat whichever way you turn it.
Gave up
Heroes – I admit it, I’m a silly blond who simply cannot follow. I might give it a go again if I hear something spectacular happened, although call me a snarky cow I do not think that is probable.
Grey’s Anatomy – oh bloody hell what happened? From a show that was witty and funny and interesting and fast (sure there was plenty of slush, but it was watchable) it just ended up as a pile of messy slush.
Still haven’t seen but seriously consideringEli Stone, Life on Mars (although I think I will stick to UK version) and Mad Men (I did see a few episodes of 1st season and it is a bit slow where I am at)
