• Actors strike (come on we just had one of those)

• Internet downloads do not count as ratings (for the love of everything that is holy get with the program!)

• Nielsen Media families – who are these people? Whoever they are they have crappy taste in television.

• The fact 99% of States and the rest of the world do not count as viewing public. If I was not a silly blond I would say that was plain old discrimination (here is the definition of discrimination).

• If we take the definition of discrimination literally and if we consider that for the networks everything is about advertisers and dollars, it means they must think we don’t have any money to spend. Hello, can they be any more daft?

• You log onto a website to check clips of one your favorite shows and this is the message you get
  “The BBC uses Geo-IP technology to identify where you are based on the location of your internet service provider (ISP). This ensures that only internet users in the UK can enjoy programmes on BBC iPlayer.
  If you download a programme to your laptop or a portable hard drive, you can watch this wherever you are in the world. However, you will only be able to download new programmes once you return to the UK.”
  They are working on the international version knowing BBC though it will take a while.
  All I will say to that is everyone else and their gran are going global
  Tssss I would say something else, however I would sound like Gordon Ramsay so I will not.

• Moving on to commercials (although that was why the remote was invented) cutting to commercial break just before something interesting is about to happen (enough with it already!)

• Commercials in general (yes I like my M&Ms already, I have already decided on my shampoo and none buys a car based on an ad tsss!)

• Product placement (examples – any show on Bravo TV)

• Great shows being cancelled (Veronica Mars, Jericho, Firefly although technically Browncoats at least got Serenity)

• Crappy shows being renewed (who actually watches According to Jim I wonder)

• The term permanent hiatus – stop being a wimp and call it cancellation

• Long winded hiatus (to wait for so many months for the last season of Battlestar Galatica was just plain wrong)

• Celebrity reality shows (one thing you most certainly will not see on these show are celebrities)

• Just plain dumb reality shows (Big Brother and Pussycat Dolls come to mind)
