In mood for some Ramsey
Horrific confession is coming up.
Ever since Project Runway ended I’m on a look-out for a new reality show to follow. I am horrible aren’t I? After I have damned and blasted all of them to hell and back. Fickle is a blond what can I say. But I do miss Project Runway and not any old reality show will do. In fact I am down right picky plus I can only stomach one at the time (stomach cannot handle more) so I’m in a bit of dilemma as I cannot make up my mind.
I do have 2 requirements
a) it cannot be mind numbingly boring, irritating or stupid (hm yes note to self - good luck with that) and
b) that participants/contestants/whoever actually have to do something rather then twiddle their thumbs all day long.
So I have checked out a few contenders
America’s Next Top Model – too much squealing for my taste plus I had to stop watching when they all started reading Tyra’s e-mail together, together as in unison (I shiver just remembering the scene)
American Idol – nah, cant be bothered
Big Brother – too much bitch slapping, nose picking and sitting on their arses not doing anything. And they aren’t that interesting.
Survivor – nope only watched season 1 and I lost interest after that.
Pussycat Dolls – those bitches killed Veronica Mars, so not watching that.
LA Ink/Miami Ink – don’t like needles.
As you can see it really does not leave me with much choice.
Things I am considering:
Top Chef – well at least they have to come up with something in every episode. However I’m still not sold, I will read a few more recaps from our buddy David Dust and then decide. And if you are a Top Chef fan, check out his recaps they are hilarious.
Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares – I do love cooking and I’m really liking it so far. He is a grumpy old foul mouthed Englishman and although I have to say from all the men I have met in England none was as foul mouthed as Ramsay, he is growing on me. Lets face it he is not Tim Gunn, but still. I do have to say after seeing some of these kitchens it has put me off eating out ever again.
