Writers strike - the end is near?
Could it be? Could it possibly be that it is finally over?
Eisner claims the deal was struck last Friday and that the acceptance of the deal is inevitable.
Studios are cautious and our friends at United Hollywood are cautious as well. They do not want to rush into (completely understandable).
The only person ecstatically optimistic is Michael Ausiello of TV Guide who even made a handy chart of shows we can still look forward to. I think its great that we will be able to see 6 more episodes of Lost but why does it say TBD next to House? Surely they can ruffle something up.
I know it is a creative process and whatnot, but still just a few more episodes would be lovely, pretty please with some whipped cream on top?
Be as it may, this is the best and most promising bit of news in a long while so good luck to the writers and I do hope you get what you have picketed for.
