Couchslobs viewing pick

couchslobs-viewing-pick

The bad news is the writers are still on strike, the good news is you do not have to be strapped for choice. I said it once and I will say it again – it is not necessary to watch reality TV to get your daily TV fix.

So when I thought about Couch slobs first selection of suggested viewing I thought about which show has been off the air the longest and the hit me – The Office. Ever since Steve Carell developed that infamous (and dare I say ingenious) testicular problem Office fans have been suffering withdrawal symptoms.

My viewing pick would be the Office, but UK version in case you have not seen it yet.

3 reasons to watch The Office UK version:

a) there is a why an American network picked up the idea from the British original – it is damn funny

b) if you are a fan of the Office that means you are accustomed to awkward pauses, non-PC humor and general embarrassment so it will not come as a shock to the system

c) Ricky Gervais‘ performance is astonishing – there is a scene when they all go to a local nightclub and he tries to chat up some unfortunate female; well being on the receiving end of such overtures I can attest such people do actually exist and Ricky Gervais brought on a nasty flashback the man is simply brilliant.
