Writers going on strike?
Just earlier this week I wrote a post about the new season premieres. The majority of my favorite series have started, although we still have to wait till next year for Lost and Battlestar Galactica. But just as I was beginning to settle in the once again found pleasure of watching some quality TV, I was horrified to learn it may not last long.
Michael Aussielo, the absolute king of scoop over at TV Guide, reports that there is a possibility writers might be going on strike. As soon as November 1st. What does that mean my fellow couchslobs? It means yours and mine favorite TV series will have only about 10 episodes taped and noone to keep the plotline going. Goodness gracious me (I should stop saying that however can you imagine?)
What is the problem? Money of course. Now I do hope this will get sorted out soon. I mean when it comes to the viewers there are books to read and flicks to rent. However what will the networks do?
