Sci-Fi’s Flop Gordon
Has anyone seen the Sci-Fi disaster called Flash Gordon? As a fan of the comic and Dino de Laurentiis’ 1980 movie, I was really So as you might have guessed I really don’t like the show! The acting is terrible, no horrific; the dialogs are senseless; the special effects are, wait there are practically no effects and those that they put in, bugs and waterfalls, are certainly not special (I expect to see wires on spaceships, when spaceships finally appear). All and all the show is one huge TURD! The Jurassic Park type! NOTE TO SELF: Flash Gordon episode pitch – Hands Across Mongo episode with Flash singing Kumbaya!
excited when I heard about the new series plans. I was imagining the new Mongo technologies and elaborate costumes, lasers blasting everywhere and Ming killing people; and what did I get? A born-again auto mechanic who went to one too many Zen classes, his journalist ex-girlfriend who just doesn’t stop talking and Zarkov, I won’t even go there! O, and the story is placed on Earth! WTF!
